How to Choose the Sidebar Layout?
Open the KB Editor
Go to Layouts
On the General Settings section, click on the Layouts link.
Choose Layouts
- Choose this Layout for the Sidebar layout.
- Click on the save button.
How do I Configure the Sidebar Layout?
Editing Sidebar Layout
Open your KB Editor on the on the main page. If your not familar with the KB Editor please read this article first. Click here
Click on any section in the preview page to edit that section. This is the same as the basic and tabs layout.
How to choose Sidebar Presets
Sidebar Presets
You can also choose from a list of predefined Presets. First open the Editor on any Article Page and then:
- Click on the Navigation Button
- Hover over the Page content link.
- Click on the Edit Section link.
Theme Presets
This option is only available for the KB Main Page. First open the KB Main Page in the Editor and then:
- Click on the Theme Preset drop down
- Scroll down and choose from the list of sidebar layouts
- Click on the save button.
How to Edit the Intro text
To update the Sidebar Main page text, please follow these steps on the backend KB configurations:
- Go to the configuration page.
- Click on the Settings tab.
- Go to the Label section.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the Settings and update the Sidebar intro text.
