Knowledge Base configuration can easily be exported and imported. Do the following:
- Export KB configuration as a backup.
- Migrate KB configuration from one site to another.
- Test major changes to the KB configuration.
- Copy (clone) the KB configuration from one Knowledege Base to another. This requires the Multiple KBs add-on. Learn More.
1 Export KB Configuration
You can find the option to export a KB configuration for the currently selected KB in the Tools.
Ensure that you selected the correct KB in the top right corner list.
2 Import KB Configuration
You can find the option to export a KB configuration for the currently selected KB in the Tools.
Ensure that you selected the correct KB in the top right corner list.
Before you import the KB Configuration, first export it as your backup.
