How to Add Videos to Articles
To add videos from YouTube and other sources, you have the following options:
- Add links to videos within your article
- Use Linked Editor add-on to replace articles with a video link (see below)
- Embed videos within the article using page builders (see below)

Embedding a Video Using its URL
Open the article where you want to embed a video.
Use the Videos Block
Open the WordPress Block Editor (Gutenberg), find the videos block, and add it to your article.
Insert Video URL
Click on the "Insert from URL" button, add your video URL, and click the Apply button.
Note: Any URL can be used to embed the video
Preview the Embedded Video
Click to Update or Publish the article and view it on the front end.
Embedding a Video Using the Media Library
Open the article where you want to embed a video.
Find the Video Block
Open the WordPress Block Editor (Gutenberg), find the Video block and add it to your article.
Load the Video From the Media Library
Click on the Media Library button.
Note: You can upload your videos separately via the Media Library as well.
Upload the Video
Choose the video you wish to display in the article, or click on the Upload files tab to add a new video to your website.
Choose Video Options
Once the video is added, choose the video block and adjust its options on the right side.
Click to Update or Publish the article and view it on the front end.

Select the Video Widget
- Use the Search and type in "Vid"
- Choose the Video Widget
Insert the Video URL
Enter the URL of the Video in the Link input field.
Note: Any URL can be used to embed the video
Added Video
Click to Update or Publish the article and view it on the front end.

Select the Video Widget
- Use the Search and type in "Vid"
- Choose the Video Widget
Choose Self Hosted
- Choose the Self Hosted option.
- Choose the video to load.
Note: You can upload your videos separately via the Media Library as well.

Video options are shown in the left column.
Click to Update or Publish the article and view it on the front end.
