Multiple Knowledge Bases Update (1.5.0)

by | Aug 28, 2017 | News |

This update makes it easier to add a new Knowledge Base and troubleshoot issues. See below for details.

FEATURE #1: When Creating a New KB, Specify Its Name and Slug

When creating a new Knowledge Base, the user is given a choice of the initial KB name and slug. This can still be changed later by opening the page that holds KB shortcode and changing the page title and/or slug.

FEATURE #2: Enable Debugging Information

Sometimes an existing defect can be very hard to troubleshoot. We added a new Debug tab that, when enabled, will display:

  • Any existing error messages that occurred and were logged.
  • Current KB configuration.
  • Basic information about installed PHP and WordPress.
